The Maiden of Anguish is a greater demon of twisted beauty and boundless malice, once imprisoned by the sorcerer Rathamon through ancient rites woven from the pages of the Grimoire of Summoning. Sealed away with spells and sigils that strained to contain her dark power, she languished in silence, biding her time. But with Rathamon’s mysterious disappearance, her shackles began to weaken. Now, unbound and furious, the Maiden of Anguish walks free, her only desire to tear open the gates of hell and drown the mortal realms in infernal chaos.

In her bid for power, she has taken control of the once-proud Amazon warriors, twisting them into corrupted shadows of their former selves. With her ruthless lieutenant, the Butcher, and an army of lesser demons at her beck and call, the Maiden captures hapless souls to fuel her dark magic. Each sacrifice strengthens the portal she has opened, allowing yet more fiends to claw their way into the world. Driven by a burning hatred and boundless cruelty, the Maiden of Anguish exists as a relentless force of destruction, her goal nothing less than the complete subjugation of every realm her dread power can reach.
